Why India?
I called my bank and my telephone / cable service provider and two calls were answered in India although the staff used either English or surname, and in some cases both, possibly to try to gain my confidence in his ability to deal with my query. Now I am in no way suggests that the level of intelligence of a person may be based gauge of their nationality, but to make a call that is not free I hope that enough recolved and timely manner. I wonder if these big companies are trying to save money by getting cheap labor in India, why not existing or former colonies utalise British, when asked to outsourcing, where the population speaks English as mother tongue? ie, the Caribbean, like Jamaica, where the currency is fact weaker than the currency of India and the island and its people continue to suffer the effects of colonialism.
The reason is, India has built the infrastructure for judicial matters. We have constructed large call centers, training of workers with specific job skills, and has lured major companies with lucrative offers. Nobody ever chose to India …. India surpassed the competition. It's capitalism at it's best (stated without sarcasm). Side note … India is not an ex-British exploitation?
