What would have been the impact of globalization on India if there is no concept of large software outsourcing?
Economic growth in India is due only to software outsourcing. I just want to know what would have been the Globalization () (unless the computer software technology). The state gives us just over outsourcing manufacturing. It will be possible to achieve atleast 1/10th of current growth?
This is a very strange question … How can I estimate the impact of thunder, if there is no concept of lightning? The software industry in India was among the first to embrace globalization, without it, the BPO industry may or may not have developed the way it did, and offshoring of software may or may not have happened. That said, the software is far from the only export from India. Textiles, jewelry, industrial equipment, chemicals, and leather are still the main exports from India.
