business manufacturing

Lean 5S uses of technology to eliminate waste through the organization of the workplace. Whether it is a manufacturing facility spread by several hectares or your desk! It's simple, easy to implement and practice. People can easily see the benefits and results are usually very fast to perform. There are some people who see the benefits of having a desk tidy but most people can see the benefits of having a neat and tidy making bank etc. Both are exactly the same, it is necessary to dispose of all garbage so you do not have to work around it and create a system so that everyone has an easily identifiable and accessible, and stay there.
Be implemented in manageable sections. Try to identify a natural boundary, such as a department, office or workspace.
The 5S are:
1. Order
2. Straighten
3. Scrub
4. Synthesize
5. Standardize
1. Order
Quite simple really!
Sort all elements in the area into three categories of R
Keep items that are essential. The regular use and occasional use
Return items "that belong elsewhere
Rid-Get rid of all the other elements
2. Straighten
Everything has a place and a place for everything. Move items that are regularly used to when needed. Place tools, etc. in places that do not interrupt the flow. Articles of the label and make everything clear.
3. Scrub
Clean the entire area and then actually clean the area. Clean tools, paint walls and floors swept. It is the responsibility of all equipment clean helps highlight the above problems, leaks in hoses (or feathers) will be more soon, as well as an environment clean is usually a safer environment!
4. Synthesize
Be sure to apply the regular cleaning schedule to keep it that way. Having procedures to ensure things do not go back to how they were. For example, ensure that nonessential items / tools may not be introduced again in the workspace.
5. Standardization
Make sure all workstations or workplace follow the same procedure and ensure compliance. The new routines and ways of working and the need for insertion sometimes this may take a little time.
